Vena Kapoor

Founder, Nature Classrooms

Vena Kapoor worked with organisations researching and practicing organic agriculture, and studying rainforest ecosystems and restoration efforts. In late 2018 Vena started  Nature Classrooms as part of the Nature Conservation Foundation’s Education and Public Engagement Programme. With her team she works closely with primary school teachers and educators through training programmes. She also conducts workshops, talks, walks for adults and children to introduce them to the fascinating world of insects, spiders and nature around them. She holds an MPhil in Conservation Leadership (2010-11) from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a Masters in Ecology (2000-2002) from the University of Pondicherry. Longer bio here.
