Shubha Ramachandran

Shubha Ramachandran is currently a mentor to the Water Team at Biome Environmental Trust (www.biometrust.org) as well as a member of a sustainable hospitality chain Linger (www.linger.in)

She has been working to understand, influence policy and implement action for sustainable management of rainwater, groundwater, waste water and wetlands in and around Bangalore. As part of her work she has designed and implemented several rainwater harvesting and waste water treatment systems. She has earlier worked in various capacities in software development. She has also worked as a high school science teacher. Nature, scientific inquiry, education are of interest. She has a degree in Civil Engineering.
