Jaya Rakesh K

Jaya Rakesh is a naturalist with a profound passion for nature education. Fascinated by the intricate web of connections within ecosystems, he shifted from engineering background and pursued his calling as a naturalist working at Kanha National Park.

Currently, he is a nature educator at Bhoomi, conducting sessions for Teach for Nature fellowship, where he facilitates nature connect sessions for the fellows to form a deeper connect with nature through nature observation sessions and walks. Beyond his work, he actively contributes to various citizen science initiatives focused on birds, trees, and biodiversity. In his free time, Rakesh explores the outdoors, often embarking on lengthy walks that fuel his quest to connect with the natural world.
